Thinking about getting a flatscreen?... 15" ones are down to the early £300 range now, so to save you time, here's a collection of websurfing handy links. I basicaly searched the www for 15" flatscreen reviews or editors choice, and also refered to Dabs.com's price-range offerings. So this seems to be the main contenders in the cheapest range. Belinea particularly were mentioned as being a new company only running since 1997 who has used low pricing to try to establish the brand. They were rated well, as was the Samsung 150T.

Here's some advised minimum spec's for a flatscreen

• Brightness - better than 200 cd/m2

• Contrast ratio - better than 300 : 1
• Pixel errors - under 5
• Viewing angle - over 140 degrees
