Can anyone give me some pointers on processing the Amen break so it sounds nice (for those that don't know this is a breakbeat taken from the track "Amen my brother" by The Winstons). Every version I've obtained, I've tried to make it sound crisp and punchy via various plug-ins, EQ-ing etc but it just sounds like Shit and won't sit with other noises at all. What are the best techniques to make the break sound good ? Please help!
