I am getting a Disk Full error when playing back songs.

I am running Windows XP Home on a P4 3ghz HT with 160gb hd and 1gb of RAM

Audiophile 24/96

The hard disk isn't full, any ideas?

maybe you're using a wav straight off a cd that's in the drive and you've done a fade in/out on the clip in the arrange page?

Hi,

The drive is partitioned into 3 - is this likely to cause this problem?

I am not playing wavs from a CD they are all on the hard disk.

Every partition has over 5gb of free space.

The memory is in 4 modules of 256 mb. The computer originally came with 2x256 and we have added 2x256 as recommeneded by the manufacturer. It unfortunately needs to be in pairs although I believe this is unusual the colour coding on the memory slots seems to support this.

The problem has occured since before the second lot of memory was added.

Could it be a temporary space problem?

Unfortunately I can't seem to narrow the error down.

I believe the exact message is 'Disk Full'

It seems to happen randomly, it can be when the machine is first turned on and after a while.

Sorry I can't narrow it down much.

hmmm...well, have never gotten this message--the closest thing I have gotten is
an overload of the Disk I/O--this can be fixed by separate hard drives for audio
and your OS. But I dont think this is your problem, or at least it doesnt sound
like it...Not sure what to tell you...best of luck with that.

just out of interest - r u using NTFS format or fat32 for your hard disk? (ritht click on disk in explorer & view PROPERTIES

and is the audio data being recorded onto your C: drive?
