ello! this came up in the tech forum, so i'm being a good boy and sticking it here.

who's got some mpc groove templates? and can you post up either a mp3 with a simple hihat pattern with the swing quantize, or a midi file quantized likewise, or whatever else you can think of.

i've had a look around (google) but can't seem to find what i want. failing this can anyone tell me how many ticks off straight sixteenths the swing is? (logic's 16B is 21, i quite like 55 at a certain speed)

thanks.

ps why? i'm just interested

ta.

ticks = divisions of a 16th beat, 240 in logic, 1 = dead on straight.

how did you do those stvy? i had a look at the 50% one in logic, some of the hits aren't dead on 1 when they should be, if you understand me.

midi just ain't what it should be i guess, and that's why people like hardware sequencers.

you fell for my trap. you have a weak mind and an even weaker sequencer. cubase is armed to the teeth. you can adjust the gate time and everything. "environment"...please; that and $.75 will get you a cup of coffee down the street. and mac rules too.
