The mp3 demos on the Camelaudio page don't impress me much.
But I admit that I didn't test the synth yet.

Just wondering, seemz cheaper, smaller than a K5000, yet if it gets those awesome pads...

hmm... didnt really hear anything interesting amongst the demo sounds. and the morphing demos, where one instrument gradually changes into another, sounded like something which could be done with two samples and a simple volume crossfade! lol... where's the mad sounds??

They were nice sounds but nothing particularly new. You'd really have to download the demo and play around with it. And then consider if it's worth $299 US when you can get some great synths for less or get something like Absynth, or Reaktor for another chunk of change and get the entire arsenol of things included and learn how to make your own mad synths and download user made synths, samplers, sequencers, effects, vocoders for free after you've gotten it.

Sorry I'm a Reaktor nut. But check out the Cameleon demo and let us know how it is. Doesn't sound bad.

My favourite for additive synthesis is the VirSyn Cube.
Pretty easy UI, clean sound, good FX.
VirSyn announced an update that contains resynthesis abilities for January 21st.

here are my first experiments with the beta:
Cubejingle

2 Cube sounds based on samples from my ancient Korg M1 and my resynthesized voice
