Emagic Logic V6.3.3 Mac G5 OSX
When Logic is not used for some time, the hardware settings change, eg.
Vatiable signal levels change from -10db to +4db.
Every time I start Logic I have to reset.
any Ideas?

is it something to do with your control-applet that is installed with the soundcard? - what soundcard is it?.... check your settings there - is it m-audio by any chance?.. cos i know they have a -10 or +4 setting option isn't it? so mebbe it is getting changed by something else when Logic is out of action & resting... or the actual applet isnt set to default to the setting you require and you keep doing it from inside logic when you run Logic but otherwise it isnt set 'generaly' to the right setting and as soon as another app uses it it changes to the default

this is a wild guess as I'm not using a mac and I also have no idea what s/card it is.

I had an idea for a script once. It's basically Jaws except when the guys in the boat are going after Jaws, they look around and there's an even bigger Jaws. The guys have to team up with Jaws to get Bigger Jaws.... I call it... Big Jaws!!!

i'm guessing it's a core audio thing. Are you using core audio drivers?
