You need to use another program to rip from CD, it can't be done straight into FL..... (Adobe Audition, Wavelab, Sound Forge, Windows Media Player etc etc)

Once you've got the audio, r.click on any channel button and "Load Sample".

Although I wouldn't recommend loading whole tracks into it...chop out what you need.
