Hello

I plug in a crappy pc-mic (worked 'perfectly' with a built-in soundcard) into M-audio analog-in.

I try to record my voice (for example: in FL 5; CoolEdit) and there's no sound!

What should I do?
PLEASE HELP

probably cos you added the audiophile and didnt assign the asio drivers in your music s/w. So the music s/w is still setup to be listening to the input on the motherboard soundcard

Idealy you need to disable the onboard AC97 audio codec in the PC BIOS and then assign the m-audio asio drivers in your music s/w

also, do yourself a favour and get a decent mic which costs SO little nowadays with cheap chinese mic's available.

I had an idea for a script once. It's basically Jaws except when the guys in the boat are going after Jaws, they look around and there's an even bigger Jaws. The guys have to team up with Jaws to get Bigger Jaws.... I call it... Big Jaws!!!
