here's an f#m9. purty basic. I find sometimes if I use the guitar voicings for some of this stuff it has a more open sound than the usual keyboard voicings, like where you have the minor 3rd and the 9th sitting right next to each other. if they're sustaining at all. sometimes for quick little chord stabs, those chunky note cluster things are just the thang.

definetly. you can even drop the 5th out of the voicing, making it a classic m9th shape, where the 9th is a simple decoration of the F#m7.
