the e608 has a frequency cut at 9000k and one at 14000k, which makes any sound put through it, sound dull!!!

Not happy

e608 sounds bad. Around 4000k and 14000k is reduced for some reason. This makes for flat sound. Not clear.
Not happy!!

The e608 is a fantasic microphone for accordion/free reed instruments.
I use 3 of them mounted to my accordion, 2 on the right hand and 1 on the left. Feedback problem virtually eliminated.
I have always had trouble getting my accordion to sound LOUD, Warm, powerful, punchy all at the same time without running into major feedback issues.
Due to it being a small capsule dynamic mic it reduces that problem. Condenor microphones always seem to feedback quickly when compared to dynamics.
On my mackie CR-1604 mixer, I attenuate the highs by 9dB, mids by 6dB, and boost the bass by 6~9dB (as needed). This I find gives the tone, even soft coupler settings, real meat.
The setting that this microphone is used mostly is in a very loud reverberant beerhall, with Rock Club volume levels. This microphone absolutely kicks.
