it's not there
cheap old midi drum brain for triggering your drums/sampler etc from midi pads
I've used one of these and they work great and will allow plenty of pads to be connected. We used some assorted simmons pads & others with this unit and they worked ok.
Here's the basic spec's - the links (right-column LINKS) contains a direct link to the yamaha site to d/load the .PDF manual for this unit.
Anyone use this?.... Please leave some user comments below...

i think i can't add new voices is't it true?
How do I hook up the Yamaha TMX module to a Simmons SD7K? I tried just using both modules and splitting from the headphones, but this does not work. Do I need to get a MIDI cable and plug it into MIDI out on the Simmons module to MIDI in on the Yamaha module?
I need a yamaha tmx for sale if someone is selling one pleas contact me thanks.
Hi,I'm an amateur and I don't know how to connect my toms and bass with tmx and what speakers need to use. Please replay on my E-mail

Biggest problem I found is lots people immediately think the sounds are too
outdated (especially if you started with the 80's-sounding synth toms/snares)
- and most wouldn't even know a thing about digital sound equipment like
this, let alone seen one as relatively 'ancient'.
I just recently bought one off ebay -blindly but it was a good price - for own
use and also to freely lend it to a church choir where I do some sound
engineering, but even the drummer more or less ignored to use it, preferring
an appalling set of non-treated acoustic drums. Therein lies the tmx's
dilemma.
Otherwise, it should be a really serious bit of kit , once properly set up either
on it's own: upto 12 pads control , etc or when accessing via MIDI even
better sound samples form other synths (acts as a sound module as well!),
etc. Will be trying it out inthe coming holiday season and hopefully can
report here.
