TASCAM 414 MKII, 4 track Portastudio, 4 channel Mixer, 9,5 cm/s, dbx. - Noobs might turn their noses up in this digital age at these old skool cassette based porta-studio's but trust me they are worth their weight in gold for getting ideas down, taping rehearsals etc. Cheap easy to get media (cassettes) light and portable, and if you wake up in the night with a killer idea, they are instant to get an idea down, unlike digital units which have to be fiddled with to get ready for recording. Anyways I own the previous model and it is a great product.
