This is one of those mics where you say, "what can I say about this
mic, that hasn't already been said." I am a voice actor and use this
mic in my home studio to great effect. For the price range, very few
mics compare in terms of the warmth and grit this mic can handle. I
use it with Adobe Audition, and with very little processing, I get
broadcast quality sound, and repeated success on auditions. Of
course, you'll want to get a pre-amp to juice the XLR version, but I
hear the USB version is quite alright on its own. I know as my
portfolio grows, I will need to upgrade, but even for a starter mic on
the professional level, this thing is aces. Overall 5/5 for starter
mic, 4/5 in general just because Neummann mics exist (pronounced Noy-
mahn) as long as you don't mind pricing that could get you a small
vacation to the Caymans! Until then, and for the price, AT2020
definitely holds its own.
