The 'SAC 2K' is a stand alone controller hardware interface designed to work with popular sequencers such as Logic & VST etc, however, this controller requires USB connection and has to be fully implemented by the host software maker. When I last checked with Radikal (aug 01) there were some issues still with the sequencer manufacturer's to acheive full implementation, so check... do check how the implementation is going for your required s/w you wish to use it with. The SAC 2K does have a preset built in already to VST under it's hardware controller list, but there is still a need to check the progress as some features were not fully implemented when I checked it out. Sop I didn't get to use it, only went to take a look at the build quality, which is good with nice smooth 100mm automated faders. Anyways, adding it to the listings as we want to have the choces listed at least even if no proper review so that users can see what's available on the market. The SAC 2K has an accompanying expansion section, the SAC-8X Expansion-Unit - which bolts on an aditional 8 channels... OR can be used as a stand-alone controller in it's own right! - The SAC-8X connects to your system via USB as well, but to maintain compatibility, the SAC-8X also includes MIDI ports for use with older computer systems.
