AKG SE300B

The SE300 B is the Colette pre-amp for the Blue Line Series capsules CK91, CK92, CK93, CK94 and CK98. This system is designed for excellent audio quality and maximum flexibility. Its robust Modulock bayonet coupling allows quick and easy changing of the capsules. The state-of-the-art electronics design ensures high RF immunity in critical environments. The SE300 B provides a switchable bass roll-off/attenuator with three positions: flat, 75Hz and 10db attenuation.

For use with all AKG Blue Line modular capsules, the SE300B operates from any 9-52 V phantom power supply. It incorporates a three position switch offering linear response, -10 dB preattenuation and 12 dB/octave 75 Hz bass-cut filter. Includes SE300B powering/output module, CK 91 cardioid capsule, W 90 foam windscreen, and SA 40 stand adapter.

AKG Blue Line Microphone Capsules

CK 91 CARDIOID
The flat frequency response and uniform polar pattern of the CK 91 make it ideal for general applications where suppression of off-axis sound is desired. Includes W 90 foam windscreen.

CK 92 OMNIDIRECTIONAL
The CK 92 offers exceptionally neutral presentation of a source in its ambient sound field, providing uniform results regardless of the distance between microphone and source. This characteristic, combined with linear frequency response across the entire audio band, makes the CK 92 an excellent choice for capturing the natural acoustic subtleties of a recording environment. Includes W 90 foam windscreen.

CK 93 HYPERCARDIOID
Similar to the CK 91, the CK 93 provides additional attenuation of 90 degrees off-axis sounds. In addition to a higher ratio of direct to ambient sound, it also offers a virtually ruler-flat frequency response. Includes W 90 foam windscreen.

CK 94 FIGURE-EIGHT
Single diaphragm membrane construction provides precise reproduction of information from opposing directions. Excellent on-axis response combined with linear rejection of side information make the CK 94 ideal for Blumlein and MS stereo recording, studio vocals and broadcast interviews. Includes W 90 foam windscreen.

About The AKG Blue Line
Impeccable performance and extraordinary flexibility set a higher standard for moderately priced modular condenser systems. Building on the foundation of AKG's reference-standard C 451 system, the AKG Blue Line elevates the state-of-the-art by offering higher sensitivity, lower noise, better phase and frequency response linearity, and lower distortion.

At the heart of each AKG Blue Line capsule is an active transducer incorporating an ultra-low mass, gold-sputtered diaphragm element. Innovative design and precision manufacturing techniques result in a transducer offering extraordinarily flat response, balanced directional characteristics, minimal sensitivity to handling noise, and virtual immunity to electrically induced noise.

AKG Blue Line's HDSMD (High Density Surface Mount Device) electronics are lighter, more compact, and more reliable than conventional circuit designs. The universal SE 300 B powering and output module features a switchable 12 dB/octave bass cut filter at 75 Hz to cut rumble, and a switchable -10 dB pad for very high SPL applications. Transformerless output electronics preserve the fidelity of the capsules across the full audio bandwidth with extremely low LF distortion.

The AKG Blue Line System is also uncommonly easy to use, thanks to the bayonet coupling. Tactile and visual guides allow fast, accurate assembly even under difficult field conditions with no possibility of cross-threading. The bayonet system also features self-cleaning contacts to maintain a clean signal, even after years of outdoor use in hostile environments.
