Novation brought this out after their s/w V-Station.... The Bass Station virtual synth is available in VSTi & Audio Units versions, and it loads presets created by the original... The original is a great as a hardware synth, but whether this s/w version can really do anything that can't be done by a variety of free-ware VSTi's is to be seen when we get to review it... One thing is that the original Basstation was real analog and the VSTi/AU version is VA.... Anyway, having a computer version that'll load any patches you created on the original would be a bonus... It'd also therefore be a bonus if it also read identical controller data as for the original which it probably does... then, old tracks could be re-mixed without any extra settings being made to the original midi sequence which would work playing the VSTi version complete with all controller move data...
Anyways... All we can right now is the spec's... also I've added the PDF brochure you can d/load...
