MDA (Maxim) DX10

the MDA (Maxim) DX10 is quite the most superb s/w VSTi i think I've seen... amazingly versatile and 100% free... get it!!
The Maxim MDA DX10 is quite extraordinary, and a real gem of a VSTi... this FREE simple & VERY low CPU stressing VST is a MUST HAVE for your arsenal!!

There are just SO many freebie s/w VSTi's around now; - as each company enters the market it seems almost obligatory for them to release one or two freeware VSTi's to get some attention.. and why not!!... it's great advertising.... But so often they tend to go for the same format of a monosynth with one or two (occaisionaly more) oscillators which does the old basslines & squidly 303-ish stuff, hardhouse style basslines, garage basses etc just fine, each with a slightly different character, but all in some ways similar... well here's something VERY VERY different, and frankly I'm flabberghasted that it's free, because this truly is an amazing bit of s/w yeilding so many sounds with such depth and variety you'll be frankly AMAZED!!

Basicaly, it's based on a standard Yamaha DX synth, and comes with about 20 presets showing off it's ability to do just that.. imitate a yammy DX.. but with the additional editing features you get in the form of sliders, the sounds this thing yeilds up are awesome!!!

Trust me!.. HUGE thumping sinewave basslines to sharp attacking percussive FM sounds, this does the lot, and there is some classic 'thwunking' RnB/pop basses to be had from this too which are simply PHAT!!.. (er.. to use the vernacular!), as well as one or two classic FM organs/key sounds like Jazz piano etc - really, I kid you not, the bass-end and definition that goes with it on some of these sounds are breathtakingly defined... wow!... it's on my machine for sure, and if you get it on yours you'll get access without fuss to the mass of hard & biting & clanging percussive FM style sounds that have made their mark over the last year or so in underground trance, and especialy in Picotto style banging euro techno...

I aint going to go into what the sliders do.. it's all very organic.. just get this baby on your pc, and see for yourself.. I'm speechless.. well except I'm not.. but y'know... get it!!!... I never thought i'd see the likes of THIS as freeware... In a world so obsessed with analog imitation, newbies especial fail to realise just how influential these sounds are on the dance/clubsounds scene... they are simply everywhere, the 'Hidden' sounds of dance.... get it downloaded!!!... thats an order!
