The CZ-3000 .... starting to get power in the CZ range now with 8 part multi & 16 oscillators to play with... bigger sister to the CZ-1000
More Casio... this time the CZ-3000, next model up from the CZ 1000. Again, an interesting and generaly under-rated synth, but I don't know much about the 3000... It's basically 2 CZ-1000's.... double the voices at 16 max, but using 2 oscillator voices it's averagely 8 note poly. The CZ-3000 is 8 part multi too... no arpeggiator until you get to the CZ-5000.... these again are underated synths.... for the money they give you a bunch of waves, and multi-mode.

I bought one to use live, to make some weird noises.
It does some nice sounds, most of them sound ok if you play them low enough :)
I found some great patches on hyperreal with some quite nasty ring mod leads.
It can do a lot of mad fx sounds and some nice digital sounding basses. It's very digital and fun for the price - I paid £120 for mine.
Also it weighs a ton.
