Well the HNM plugins just get better!... i downloaded the pack of all 5 freeware VST plugins and I'm going thru them, starting with the ringmod plug, via a really nice mono filter, thru now to this - HNM_Dist - a distortion with a few twists...
It has a threshold for one, and two filters one on the input and one on the output, each with resonance... check it out it really is a cool distortion filter!! - excellent on drums! - I'd like to try tthis on vocals too especially mixed in on a send in some reverb on BV's would be interesting to add some tuned harmonic distortion to really make the BV's gel & hum!! - so many uses a little freeware like this can have!...
This is a GREAT plugin... get this on some drums.. makes even the crappy LM9 bog standard kit sound like john bohnam on acid! - heh heh - really!...
Anyway, don't take my word for it, go over to their site via the site link (right column LINKS) and get the download zip pack of all their great plugins!
