it's not there Amulet VST to Direct-x adapter

Amulet VST to Direct-x adapter

GEt this if you want access to LOADS of FREE direct-x fx for your pc - check it out imeadiatly !!!
What is there to say !! - it converts VST plugins to direct-x fx by loading a direct-x application that loads the dll files of the vst plug and converting it - there is currently about 100 + FREE VST plugins out there waiting to be snapped up !!... Above you can see the image - It is the Waldorf filter working in Soundforge...

On top of that, you get access to plugs like the Waldorf filters etc which otherwise were not availale for the 'other' softwares - so this is an absolute Godsend piece of s/w it has to be said , and i heartily wish the authors the best success people cos it gives YOU a whole bunch of free plugs for less than a single cheap one.......

Here's the North-Pole filter going in Cakewalk,.... (it's a freeware too !!...)

Just get over an download it... there are links there to FREE vst pligin sites, like dave Browns excellent 'Tempo-delay' which is an absolute MUST-HAVE delay plugin with readable bpm and other repeat settings etc.... plus he does others.... there are loads - so give it a go -

They claim to have tested most plugs with the Cake, Logic's, Acid, Soundforge etc etc.... and they work ok.... anyone comments ??

The cost came down to $30 recently too, and there's a coupla new versions according to the website. V2 apparently supports, quote...

"MIDI automation of all plug-in parameters - if your DAW software supports MIDI, you can automate all parameters of the VST plug-ins. You can also tweak them in real-time using a hardware MIDI fader box such as a Peavey PC-1600 or Doepfer Drehbank."

and also...

"VST Instrument support - use Model.E, Neon, LM-4 and others in your non-Steinberg DAW software."

V2 costs $60 (free upgrade for old V1 users).

There's also some other version designed for Soundforge & Cool Edit Pro.

I have use the V1 with Logic Gold 3.5 (PC) and it works great with all the freebie plugins I have tried. I plan to download the upgrade asap and try the new features :-) The latest Logic might support Cubase plugins on the PC now though, I dunno.
