Yup... MDA (Maxim Digital Audio have been around for years and were one of the first to bring a clutch of free plugins for VST... Most people already have them, but in-case newbies don't know... The plugins are superb!!
This one is called 'Multiband', and not surprisingly, it's a multi-band compressor! - Pretty straightforward... Two selectors to tune in the frequency divisions between Low, Mid & High... So in the image above, the low-band is below 200hz, and the top-band is above 2000hz, and the mid therefore lies in-between.... There's a compression amount & level output for each band & an overall attack & release as well as width & an overall Soft or Hard setting for the comp.... The top control (Listen) is switchable between 'Low', 'Mid' & 'High' or 'Output' (to listen to all bands)... Nice!...
Ok, not a really detailed multi-band but could be usefuly employed on drums etc for moulding your sound!
