CONSOLE is Plug-in host that support for major Plug-in formats such as VST effects, VSTi, DirectX Audio Plug-in(DX Plug-in), DXi. Its characteristic point is not only work as standalone, but also CONSOLE by itself can be Plug-in with its Plug-in host function kept.

Where CONSOLE is used as a Plug-In

Work as VST effect, VSTi, DX Plug-in, DXi.
In case of working as Plug-in, it can host both type of VST, DX.

There are no limitation of usable Plug-in, so it depends on your PC environment(i.e. CPU power or memory). In mode of VST, VSTi, it support for multi-in/out, and can be set "0" to maximum "16"out.
