Saddam is feared as a vicious dictator who threatens the security of the Gulf region as a whole. (1)

Now, please understand that this man thinks he is the King of Babylon (2). Recall history and you will find that the Babylonians were fierce conquerors of the day, hence Saddam's attitude. He hates everything British and otherwise Western.

Please, take some time to read about him and you will quickly see that is doesn't matter what Bush or any other leader does or doesn't do, this guy is carried away with himself and can't see anyone else. He will kill regardless. I'd not rather die by his hand

Well, he could possibly be subverted, but I'm quite sure it would be impossible to induce covert actions. He's surrounded 24/7 by the best of his best; about 2000 in number, strickly loyal, plus we've already told him we're coming and the element of suprise is the strongest tactic specops has.

To complicate things further, he has men around that have had their face altered to match Saddam to near perfection. Gawd, I'm mean, he's got sons that will take over as well, so this is really an occupational/leader change operation vice strike and effect.

This guy doesn't care, and that is why Bush's Military planners need to be super careful.

I'm not for war, but the pacifism has led us down roads which we shouldn't have travelled.

Sadam is mad? yes. Stupid? no. He was more heavily armed during the Gulf war but didn't use his weapons of mass destruction then did he? When will he use his weapons? We don't know for sure. But one thing you can bank on is that if we try to destroy his power and back him into a corner he will be a lot more likely to use these weapons. He hasn't yet made any major advances to start threatening the world and we should think this through a lot more than we have, before we go forcing him into a situation where he is very likely to use such drastic measures. If you beleive that simply owning these weapons is enough of a threat, just remember that the US and the UK also have weapons of mass destruction, and the only country that has ever used nuclear weapons on anyone else is the US (the French also whent through a period of testing them in the 90's). All biases set-asside, I feel that, at the moment, we should be more scared of the Bush regime than Sadams.

the idea saddam could 'threaten the world' is ludicrous enuff in itself... no he couldn't do that, so it's all stupid talk. How the hell can some tinpot dictator with no weapons worth a wank and no troops worth a wank 'threaten' any other states in the world outside of his immeadiate neighbours without getting wasted?... pure hysterical fantasy.

been trying to secure uranium for years, and according to this article in the past months.

k is always the one who says you can make good tunes on cheap/little gear, that its the heart that counts. no protools necessary.

so here we have a situation of sadam with skint tools and lots of heart... sadam doesn't need protools.

the technology for weapons moves faster than music technology. the music industry is democracized to the point where even people with no money can make tunes. i would say the weapons industry is the same way.

don't fall victim to the same mentality the protools guys do in the weapons front.

kinda silly that i am comparing weapons of mass destruction and the easy availablity of them to protools/cheap rigs but i think it applies.
