The 909 crack sounds like crap if you ask me. They are really bad quality samples. They sound like they were from Hammerhead or a Groovebox. Could someone put a version out with good samples. There's a good 909 kit on Hyperreal's music machine's page. But the 909 is boring anyway. The kik is good though.

But it was a Fun to remove the "physical
modeled" Sounds out of the 8o8.
I didn�t want to create a real good one.
It�s a fun, son

Maybe the Propellerheads make a 2.0 Version of
the Software were the 8o8 is removed and
something like a Hammerhead Step-Sequencer
(with Filters etc.) is build in where the User
can load his own Stuff into (a "Load Sample"
Dialogue Box).

just love the Kick !

I was wondering if you could tell us how to put new samples in so that maybe the guy above can put his own damn samples in! Good prog. though. I have all of the necessary tools to get in and out of RB-338. I would be very grateful if you told me. -Noel

rb-338 doesn't use samples. all the analogue circuitry is
simulated in software.

read the docs. duh.

bullshit... hasn't this foulness been exposed earlier?
there are multiple samples in the 808 kit which are selected at random to simulate analog unpredictability... That's why you can rip 'em out and replace 'em.

absolutely..... It was revealed that the programme uses samples....... also the first wining person at the top........ get a life... IF 909 is boring, what the fuck do you care if they sound good.....YOU WONT BE USING THEM ANYWAY RIGHT ??!!........

i agree, but the guy who patched the 909 version should re-mind us again how its done, coz i forgot

, i remember ripper5 and a hex edit prog, but otherwise i`m lost, then instead of all these fuckin twats complaining about some guys work, we can all do our own and be done with it, so....holger (whatever yer name is....hows it done)..oh and is PHOCK a new way of spelling fuck ?

yeah, I got the 808 samples out, the kick sample was really soft. I then downloaded a Hex program and tried it out, and basically couldn't figure it out at all. What Hex program are you using Holger?, and how can it be used to create a patch for Rebirth?
