picked one up yesterday if any of you BT Openworld bobs fancy getting all your studio PC's online, it works great!

It's got 4 connections, and those can have hubs attached... so I've got two PC's in one room wired in direct, and the other machines on the network are wired into the LAN via a hub on an uplink... super dupa! - and it all works great with BT's SINGLE-USER cheap £29.99 p.m ADSL package heh heh - also it's speeded up connections for sure and even the LAN seems faster!

100 quid!

I work for Nortel Networks. We have just released new 802.1a/b wireless kit. The new standard supports 54Mbs or proprietry (although quite a few vendors are doing it now) 108Mbps TURBO mode.

I'm currently trying to sneak some 'demo' kit out of the office for use at home......

Worth remembering that all 'Hub' technology and wireless is a shared technology.

If your hub supports 100Mbps and you have 4 devices linked to it they only get 25mbps each and so on. The more kit the slower it goes.

If you want real fast use a switch. In the same scenario you would have 100Mpbs for each device.
