The 909 crack sounds like crap if you ask me. They are really bad quality samples. They sound like they were from Hammerhead or a Groovebox. Could someone put a version out with good samples. There's a good 909 kit on Hyperreal's music machine's page. But the 909 is boring anyway. The kik is good though.

The simplest way to swap the build - in Samples is to use
a RESOURCE EDITOR like shipped with BORLAND C++ or Microsoft VISUAL C++

There you can easily drag and drop new Samples into the Rebirth.exe and rename it like RB336.exe or whatever.

When you use a Hex Editor you have to find the Sample Headers in the HexCode (AIFF) and paste the new code into the old one which has to be the exactly same
length.

This is why the Toms in RB339 are clipping (because they
have been a litlle bit longer)

But to use a Hex Editor is a Hell of Work ,

Just use ResEdit !
