Does anybody know if the Emu Emax 1 digital sampling keyboard can be used multitimbrally using Cakewalk, if so, how and how many parts.

No, serious, that's one of the main reasons why i sold it..I did some tests when I had it, I had the same sounds assigned to it and an s900..the Emax1 lagged behind the s900 by about 2/96ths. This may not seem much was enough to hear. I read an interview a few years back with a guy who said the same thing also.
