Can someone give me a link for a website loaded with these "avatars" ? I like to consider myself a supreme geek, but I'm unaware of some of the latest trends. Seriously, what are avatars?

Okay, I too like the oldschool dt style and avatars would perhaps not be a hit here, but genereally I think avatars rule.

I had an idea for a script once. It's basically Jaws except when the guys in the boat are going after Jaws, they look around and there's an even bigger Jaws. The guys have to team up with Jaws to get Bigger Jaws.... I call it... Big Jaws!!!

yeah, my eyes hurt from all the smilies/avatars/pics/graphic signatures/quotes/ and everything else that people insert into forums nowadays. i cant see whats the bloody point.
