September 11th marks the 29th anniversary of the date that President Salvador Allende of Chile was murdered in a coup sponsored by the government of the United States of America.

Allende was the leader of a reformist government that opposed US intervention and activly attempted to forge an independent nation. This contradicted with US "interests" in the region. So they got rid of him.

...and they wonder why they have enemies?

religion bonded to nations/states is a really bad thing. it exists in china (communism is a religion) and it exists everywhere there are fundementalist islamic states.

its just as arrogant to think that the status quo will remain as it is to be an american.
