SiuS, you're convinced that your traks are worse as a result of you having no A7000 to play with, and that life is not worth living without one?

Oh yes, Whitey, you're starting to get the picture. We don't WANT you to succeed. We KNOW that you are nothing without our superior minds and the technology we have spawned. You will always be a failure in our eyes.

what's the big deal? the a7000 has been discontinued
for years. ok, well, maybe there are TWO a7000s.
but first, some history: back when Sequential Circuits
went under, they made a sampler called the Prophet 3000.
1987, 16 bit, and a wired remote (hmm are we finally
seeing that now?) very cool. unforunately they were
on the rocks and never really got to finish it. the
company got bought by Yamaha. they re-released the P3000
in Japan only under the name A7000. very few were sold,
and it was quickly discontinued. They were eventually
let go from yamaha, and were hired the same day by
Korg. They went on to make the Wavestation, and i think
some of them are still here at the research center
here in Milpitas....

So: I have heard rumors about another a7000, which
can't be the same one, because the specs sound like
a modern sampler (128 voices, gobs of ram, fx, etc.).
the p3000 was just an 8 voice, 2 meg sampler, no fx
(unless you count the analog filters in the voices).
i have a p3000, and it's very cool, but nothing you
can't live without. an a3000 is quite a bit cooler...

Thank u for u're answer nomad info was all I was asking for. Yeah melon I really think my tracks can't live without the A7000, I'm really going to Jap, really....no really ...Hilevelt, the reason u don't want us to succeed is... ddddrrrrssshhh .. end of case, its funny we always looked at u as failure too, even with u'r shiny technology which u try to hide under to take the attention away from u're tiny dicks, I understand u if take this personally, even though its nothing personal.

It's funny that you slag my 'shiny technology', the very same thing melon slagged you for. Am I understanding you correctly, that my kit makes up for my impotency, whilst you require but don't have that same level of kit, meaning that your impotency is wide out in the open for everyone to see?

Also funny: I'd thought my original posting was obvious enough sarcasm, that only an idiot wouldn't get it. Next time I'll be careful not to offend the idiots.

Perhaps you're a bigot, in which case we all know what kilo does to bigots on this. But I doubt it. You're probably an idiot.

I didn't think I've had to mention this, but the most obvious thing in this thread is that I found u're post offensive, sarcasm or not, is not the issue, so excuse me for striking back, if that makes me an idiot then a idiot I'll be (so that makes two of us) But since this is all a big bubble of air, why not pop it.. peace
