Is there a software program for PC that will convert audio into wav and record them on a cd-r disc as a wav. Urgent! Thanks.

Ok. What I'm trying to do is record a bunch of wav files from the hard drive to a cd-r disc in wav format and not audio format. Is there a software program for that. I have Sonic Foundry's CD Factory. It comes with CD Architect and a cd-recorder and it does not discuss this topic on the manual. Thank you.

I use Adaptec Direct CD, you just dump the wav file to whichever drive letter is your CD-R - dead simple.

Rouge. Replica. Damn. I can't get the Direct Cd software separately. It comes bundled with cd-recorders. Da hell. I already have a cd-recorder. What would I need with two cd-recorders? Where can I get a copy of Direct CD. I need it bad. Help!!!!!!

winOnCD (CeQuadrat) or Gear or Toast (Mac) or Easy CD or anything should let you write an ISO9660/Joliet disc ie yer standard cd-rom format for PC. All you do is select your files (.wav, .doc, .bmp whatever...) and then burn it. Any software should do it...inless you have bought specific audioCD burning software.
