it's a modular softsynth....80 blocks of which
each block can be an osc, filter, mixer, delay line,
mux, all sorts of stuff. run cables all over the place.
sounds nice too. haven't used it a whole lot (heck,
i still haven't fully explored the hardware synths
i have, and my sampler only has 8 voices...) but it
seems pretty powerful as well....

Does it matter if the interface is a bit old, so long as
the sounds are good? Does average club-goer give a toss?

Fact is its filters and stuff are about the best there
are. Blows stuff like Reality, Virtualwaves away, IMO for sheer sound quality which is what matters.

Only trouble is not real-time, but again, who cares five years down the line sitting in yer front-room? Dammit, it's free anyway, so quit whinging.
