For music gear, it would have to be my Kaos Pad 2... its mangling heaven.

With a nova you wouldn't even have keys... frustrating, unless we get to have the DAW he won't let us pick!

I don't own a MC909, but if I had to have one piece and only one, it might be that...

from my kit, E-mu XL7, damned fine synth engine, and a good all in one sequencer box!

I would say rs7000 but I don't like the little chicklett keys same for the mc909 and the rm1x. I guess I would go with a workstation keyboard like a triton or a motif so I could have sequencer keyboard sampler and synth all in one.

My final answer would be a MOTIF 88 since you can use the plg expansion boards in it so you could have a sampler a VA and a FM synth puls a sequencer and an 88 key weighted keyboard.

If it had to be a piece of kit I already have it would be the trusty old asr-x.
