Its probably been done at this site before - but !

What about having a vote, say open for 14-21 days for the best synth ever - as voted by visitors at Dancetech !

Its your site Kilo - your decision I'd say ?

Mmm, it would have to be the Argos Twin Operator Multi-timbral hilton-morgan double ball bearing and socket set.

June Whitfield. (of Terry and June fame).

P.S I am not available for Panto this year but will be staring in Ben Dovers new film title "Deep Arse 9".

Well, much as one has to admire the technical dabblings and fine electronic musical instrument & synthesiser creations of that Doctor Robert Moog.... If he came round my house, at 4 o'clock in the morning, with a portable PA system, and a classic 'Mini-Moog' synthesiser, plugged it in, and proceded to play the synth at loud volume running through a repetoir of arpegiations, scales, modes, and various filtered chordal arrangements to demonstarate the extreme versatility of this classic keyboard..... I'd say:

"OI !!!...... BOB !!!..... NOOOOOOOO!"......

Yeah OK I agree, but these questions are asked are'nt
they. As for the Casio SK-1 sampler - for the money
it was nothing short of brilliant - and although you
mention it as a joke - I am sure many (perhaps poorer)
musicians have pressed it into service somewhere !!.

SK-1: sampling, S+S, AND even limited additive synthesis, that means it's got as many synthesis engines as a an EX-7!!

The only thing lacking is midi, but maybe there's a kenton kit floating around....
