i was just wondering if anyone has had experience with the radium kb's & could tell me if the latency is ok when using the usb interface (not a midi in to the computer).

what souncard are you using?
the ozone IS the soundcard. It's got the audio and MIDI i/o, plus the low latency
drivers. It will show up in your s/w's audio preferences, along w/ your crappy
onboard laptop soundcard ;-)

what s/w are you using?
sonar, acid, traktor, soundforge, wavelab. SX totally sucked at figuring out the
configuration so I just nuked it for good! sick of picky steinberg so I switched to
sonar. haven't really composed much on it yet tho.

also, do you feel like only having a few octave's worth of keys inhibits you at all?
nope, not yet. good for programming drumz and b-lines, and yeah the octave +/-
shift keys are right there. I don't play keys w/ 2 hands tho, dunno 'bout you.
