is there a way you can automate reason using cubase sx , using the reason automation lines to control parameter setting in reason ,

just sync them and edit the automation in reason. thats what i do...

and just make sure that both arrangement screens are just as long as eachother

nah dude i hate doing it that way i think the automation in reason is very " consumer grade" wile cubase i consider " pro " automation

well when ya find lists of cc numbers for doing it that way give a shout boss, im doing it reason sync style too, and find it pretty off-putting.

Ive RTFM and cant believe this would be an oversight, im a pretty new reason/ rewire user tho, so im mebbe missing something

reason automation seems fairly basic to me (consumer grade good)
but i don't know a damned thing about it so....there you go.
i say control the ford from the chevy.
much safer and easier....and immediate and "pro".
might i add catastrophic?

The reason automation is fine...just use it

I know 2 people who just got signed (all reason/cubase). 1 from the top trance record label in the world and another to another high up label (solar stone's label) and they both automate in reason. that's pro enough for me.......

I do all my automations in google.... it's easy... just type www.google.com to your browser and start Cubase SX from there.... highly recommended it... j�?
