I’ve been looking at the Phatboy from Keyfax with the intention of using it for controlling my MU10 and ReBirth, but do I really need one?

I have a Basstation Keyboard, should I use that instead? If so, am I missing out on any features the Phatboy has to offer?

Also, does anyone have the Twiddly bits modular madness or funk midi files? What are they like?

you can use the basstation if you filter the controller numbers to match the s/w & MU or the s/w''s or MU's can switch to match the BS fixed numbers....

If you really want to get a controller to control rebirth and/or your MU10, go with the Roland MCR-8 Beats the pants off of the Phat.Boy has about triple the knobs, and it has sliders and buttons, so you can control all the 303's in rebirth and be able to change patterns on the 909 and 808, control the effects and volume, and still have knobs n sliders to spare. Get Reconvert(I think) tho by saynomore, it lets you use all the knobs and sliders available, not just 8 or 10(whatever the max normally is)Just my input,
Hidrah
