I've got VST, win'98 and two synths: Korg 01/W and JP8000. Everything used to work just fine but a couple of days I go I ran into problems.

JP8000 isn't responding to any incoming midi anymore unless its local control is set to 'on'. Weird, uh? Theres even more: when I set the local control on in jp8000 to hear at least something.. it messes up the other tracks. Jp8000 plays back also other tracks meant to be played on 01/W.. what can I do?

I've tried to use both of my synth as master controller, and the problem remains the same no matter if I play notes with 01/w and try to thru-put them to jp8000 via VST.

I checked the channel settings in every unit and the thru is set to enabled in VST. I really appreciate if somebody even TRIES to help me!

Sounds like you managed to screw up the master settings in the JP8000. Have you tried a factory reset and then reassign your midi channels ? Is the JP8000 on 1 & 2 or are you using the Korg on those ?

Yeah, you got it! I did the factory reset and problems went away. I'm still wondering what was the reason because I haven't touched too much in the master settings. Awesome synth anyway (jp8000).. I love its sounds.
