About the esi4000 I had one but took it back because the only
way to tirgger sample offset was with velocity. And that was stupid to me.
I need a sampler that can do this pretty easily. I'm still not sure if I want
the a3000.. Can the akai s2000 change sample start with push of a button or
a turn of a knob. If anybody is not sure what i'm talking about check it, if you used
acid you have a sample and you can loop then you can click event and drag
that blue bar down the sample and it starts there and loops from there too. thats what
I want in a sampler. Anybody know of any not too expensive samplers that can do this.

The ASR-10/X can do this using the Mod wheel (plus about 10 other choices) as the sample start modulator.

Yeah I know I went from ASRX to Esi4000 and was dissapointed!! Ioved how easy it was on the X.
(they are getting really cheap now cuz of the pro by the way) But I wasn't using the X's sequencer
or Internal sounds so I took it back thinking surely that emu would have something similiar in that
stand alone sampler. Wrong!! I need something like that in a sampler , any more suggestions.....
