i NEED a copy of this programme and im NOT prepared to shell out $400 for
it. not when i make minimum wage HOWEVER if anyone knows of a "beta"i.e. "free"

Well since Radium files are normally RA-something.zip and it's ACID that you want, I'd find a fast FTP search engine and take it from there.
