Had a look at this site today,,

http://www.surf.to/analogue

It's a analogue equipment sales thing.. BUT I aint promoting them I just noticed something interesting they're doing...

Check out the page on Analogue Percussion / Modular & Superior Analogue / Sequencing

Well seems to me that using these modules, you can build up your own analogue drum machine... Using midi-CV converters to trigger the sounds off each module... I mean you'd end up with a mess of wires etc BUT, think about it.. You could add-on filters from the doepfer modular system.. Ring modulators..

Plus they're building sequencers and fill-in modules ala 808..

I'm gonna phone them up this weekend and get the details....

Hey XOXOS What rock did you crawl out from? You're words are littering every crack of this site! I'm just giving you shit -- so don't take it personally. You do have a lot of info to share and it is quite refreshing to see. I left Dancetech for a while due to the fact that it was attracting the lowest common denomenators of the gene pool. I couldn't believe how many were proving their ignorance. Anyways, I'm going to stop now, might take a walk over to the slagin' arena tho. keep wording the folks up!

The bloke e-mailed me,, Shit you need to buy a proper case that will hold all the modules + power supply that'll handle 8 modules or so. Looking at around 250 for a simple system that would be just three sounds.

Hmmm, don't seem quite so appealing now.. Still, If it rains tenners tomorrow then maybe I will..
