Hey, does anyone know where to get op. system 3.0
for the Esi without buyin' the turbo kit (Dowload?). Does the op. upgrade give you more than 2 layers?

Don't know about the turbo board, I'd say check the emu website.
BUT... the way to get system 3.O (or I believe it's 3.02 now) for free is to go to the dealer you bought it from and complain that the esi won't work with that zip drive you just bought. They will either give you the roms to do the upgrade yourself, or in case you've got less luck (like me), they'll say they don't know what's wrong with it and send it of to emu, and it will take a couple of weeks before you see it again.

There's not THAT much differenec in the 3.0X update... most usefull I've found is that the zip drive will now work (hurray!) and that you get 17 or something extra filters to play with.

You still can't use more than 2 presets in a layer, but did you know that you can link presets and thus do allmost the same thing ?
