I got this pair of Aiwa headphones from Argos for �25...... i think..... they're fine for what i want to do.....

You can't go wrong with the AKG240M if you're looking for a flat response (M stands for 'Monitor')... Just got a pair for $90 at guitar center, that's close to 50quid
