I have had this thought long time that I should take piano and theory lessons but I just don't have money for it.

Now I was thinking since I just bought a dvd player that maybe there are some good videos about the subject.

If somebody knows any good ones please recommend.

don't know about dvds, but there are a bunch of online courses to take. i think
the one i remember is at http://www.musicianuniversity.com.

The music theory program from the above site is inexpensive and will give you a good grounding in the basics of music theory.

This site has a lot of videos and books with a jazz emphasis

There is also a company called PGmusic who sell piano software that shows you where to put your fingers.

www.hotlicks.com mainly guitar but there may be some keyboard stuff
