Sure, "The Games" are rife with controversy (professional athletes should have no place in the Olympics), allegations of doping, and commentators doing everything in their power to politicize the opening ceremony - making themselves look even more foolish with their other remarks - but watching the faces of the kids who will be competing over the next couple of weeks is inspiring. Let wish all the best for all the athletes.

I was watching the amazing "Mythodea"-concert by Vangelis from the 'Temple of Zeus', on the telly some months ago. And i thought everything else, than having Vangelis opening the Olympic Game in Athens - would be ridiculous!

I didn't even know about Ti�sto but i.m.o. that would be the worst nightmare ever so i didn't even think in that direction. then we all know what happened....

Amen to Dominic's words. Insult is the only word to describe it....
DAMN is there any hope left ?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

as far as I know the olympics are only u.s. athletes. i don't follow it but all I hear on the news is mention of u.s. athletes. even if they take the bronze or nothing there is never mention of who took the gold or silver.
