Is it possible to build your own velocity-sensitive drum triggers? Aside from the paia kit, can you build 'em midi?

Also, I've still got the drum pad add-ons for my old drumulator (big as an sp12), worth trying to midi up?

well, you can use Piezo conductors.... put them on a wood disk, and cover with rubber.....

Interesting idea!

Anyway I can use my old drum-kit , then use it to trigger my SR16 so I don't have to mic it up?

Does anyone have the specs for a controller type thing that allows you to change what note number your homebrew
Piezo conductors pads are triggering ?
