I just stumbled upon one of these . Its not brand new. I'm trying to make sure its
fully functional. Tell me if its normal to have one of the IN lights constantly on.
The lights should only illuminate when midi activity is inputted by the user
right?

I found out that the the IN light was lit because of my Korg Triton.
Some sort of midi data is constantly being emitted by the
Triton and I don't know what it is. Any one have any idea?

Could be clock data from the onboard sequencer or perhaps the arpeggiator (my Z1 spits out midi data all the time from the arp, amongst other things)

It is, in fact, clock data.

you're right, it is the clock data. I didn't realize it before because the triton was usually just connected straight to the mpc and the mpc doesn't constantly tell you when data is comming in to it.
