I've had my basstation for a few months now and although I was impressed with it when I first got it I can't get any satisfying sounds out of it anymore.

Any time I do get it sounding good, if I load up Vaz or Rebirth they sound so much richer and fatter. I find myself turning increasingly towards software as my Basstation gathers dust.

So am I just not tweaking the right knobs or has ever evolving software like vaz made my basstation obsolete?

nope..... the basstation to me is 100% cool... try distortion pedals... eq...... delays... compression etc.... maybe your feeding it into a crap sound input, or a duff channel or something...... it's an ok synth tho......pretty unbeatable for the money as a secondhand purchase....

It's funny, cos I got mine three months back, and I have the same experience. Well it's not shit, but rubberduck and other softsynths does the job aswell, and it's like 1/100 the price. Allso, I have a An1x, withc is allmost the same price, and it's way cooler. The bassstation lacks delay/reverb stuff alot i think.
