I was thinking of adding one to my arsenal. Which one/ones would you reguard as your favorite. Do you use a h/w Effects Processor or s/w?
Thanx

I use all SW now but for hardware I still think the boss VF-1 is a damn good deal

I've just bought a Behringer Virtualizer Pro to bolster up the h/w fx in our studio.. primarily for giving vocalists a treated monitor mix when we use the Direct Monitoring features of the soundcard, more than using FX in the mix properly..
(For all that stuff we use s/w plugins)

Good little box though, and cheap as you like!

Exactly what Influx said. Certainly other stuff out there. Marc knows his gear.

I'm a software guy too for recording. I use a Sony DPS-V55 for live. I sometimes use it for reverb and distortions too for recording. It's a great sounding box, very versatile. It can process 4 mono sources at the same time, or two stereo. The 56-bit reverb only lets you process one stereo pair though..

Good sounding box, and cheap secondhand.

It depends a bit on the setup you have and what you're trying to do.

Personally I like to mangle samples in soundforge (I like the psp plugins a lot www.pspaudioware.com), then SCSI them to hardware sampler where I usually
just use the delay effect.
