greets dt fellas

thought I´d pop up a easy´n quick q here at a the form, as I´m on the verge of buying a 106 and this is a reliable place..

I read on the net that its faders can be recorded into sequenecer as can patch change via sysex .. but I have it here in front of me and my sequencer (mpc) does not indicate any midi input from the juno other than note on note off ...?

is there somekind of a setting in the juno I have to make before it sends out sysex?

yep ... but no velocity at All!!

puts my va´s to shame when it comes to bass though.. & it just sounds lovly all around.. I really am starting to lose faith in the all these morden synths, sure they have their place and are more flexible but the old synth just sound so much better.. where the did we go wrong ..

"We" went wrong when "we" chose quantity over quality. Three of four VA synths for $6000.00US or one or two killer, REAL, analog synths. I'm working in software right now - packing all my hardware for storage during a relocation - but as limited as some of me analog gear is it's sound is sublime, such a subtle difference but still noticable, even the hybrid DCO/VCFstuff. Still, working in software only has led to new working habits that, even as I pack up my hardware, I am anxious to apply to it.
